Rodrigo Fern\u00e1ndez es interprete, docente de Universidad UNIACC y miembro fundador de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda Danza en Cruz junto con Valentina Pavez, su se\u00f1ora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La obra \u201cIndio Pavez\u201d, en la que Fern\u00e1ndez junto con Pavez son interpretes creadores, es la historia del padre de Valentina, el destacado folclorista, investigador y recopilador, H\u00e9ctor \u201cIndio\u201d Pavez, fue escrita y dirigida por Pablo Zamorano y gan\u00f3 el premio especial por investigaci\u00f3n patrimonial<\/a> del C\u00edrculo de Cr\u00edticos de Arte de Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La obra se encasilla dentro del folclor en la Nueva Canci\u00f3n Chilena y es una visi\u00f3n de la vida de H\u00e9ctor Pavez, que atraviesa la historia de Chile, su identidad, legado y memoria. Tambi\u00e9n atraviesa las biograf\u00edas personales de cada uno de los int\u00e9rpretes en la obra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEs muy interesante, porque el espectador va a reconocer temas que son un cl\u00e1sico que es la interpretada. Va a poder entender la historia de Chile, un proceso hist\u00f3rico particular, hasta hoy en d\u00eda, cruzando por las biograf\u00edas de cada interprete\u201d, nos cuenta Rodrigo Fern\u00e1ndez, a lo que agrega: \u201cTambi\u00e9n hay un cruce generacional. En esta obra estoy yo que soy su yerno, est\u00e1 su hija, su hijo, su nieto, unos amigos. Hay una transversalidad de generaciones que creo que es s\u00faper importante para entender ese viaje, esa memoria, esa identidad. C\u00f3mo atraviesa una familia la historia de un pa\u00eds y la historia de un contexto social y pol\u00edtico muy pertinente en estos momentos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodrigo Fern\u00e1ndez ha estado \u201csiempre en la danza independiente\u201d aunque ha trabajado en compa\u00f1\u00edas oficiales como el Ballet Nacional y el Ballet Municipal. Se form\u00f3 con Patricio Bunster<\/a> y Joan Jara<\/a>. Estudi\u00f3 en Estados Unidos con una beca, en Argentina y estuvo viviendo en M\u00e9xico por tres a\u00f1os mientras trabajaba en el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y es ah\u00ed donde fundan la Compa\u00f1\u00eda Danza en Cruz. Cuando vuelve a Chile \u201cya hab\u00eda empezado este boom <\/em>de las carreras de danza\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNosotros llegamos a Chile, alrededor de 2008, justo en el momento que estaban agarrando vuelo y empezamos a trabajar en distintas universidades hasta que Edgardo Hartley me llama y me ofrece trabajar en UNIACC<\/a>\u201d, sostiene Fern\u00e1ndez y agrega: \u201cYo acept\u00e9 y ha sido una experiencia bastante enriquecedora, pese a que es una l\u00ednea bastante particular de danza espect\u00e1culo. Creo que hemos sido un aporte dentro de esa l\u00ednea en formaci\u00f3n de bailarines e int\u00e9rpretes y como core\u00f3grafo. Llevo harto tiempo en UNIACC y ha sido una buena experiencia. La gente que llega tiene muchas ganas de aprender, de hacer\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para Rodrigo existe una diferencia fundamental en los estudiantes de la Escuela de Danza y Coreograf\u00eda<\/a> de la Universidad. \u201cPercibo un deseo de aprender, mucha pasi\u00f3n y ganas de bailar, y eso es s\u00faper rico\u201d y agrega: \u201cYo creo que es importante la formaci\u00f3n, la base t\u00e9cnica que trabajamos con el cuerpo, pero tambi\u00e9n hay que trabajar la cabeza, entender el movimiento e incluso tener una opini\u00f3n sobre \u00e9l, entender las diferentes corrientes que existen. La transversalidad es importante, sobre todo para un core\u00f3grafo, para generar pensamiento\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El hecho de tener a profesores y profesoras que siguen ejerciendo lo que ense\u00f1a es muy beneficioso para los estudiantes. \u201cCreo que es s\u00faper importante porque es un aporte para el alumno. O sea, t\u00fa est\u00e1s vivo, est\u00e1s conectado con la escena, est\u00e1s conectando con c\u00f3mo se siente un int\u00e9rprete, como siente un bailar\u00edn y eso el alumno lo recibe, recibe esa energ\u00eda viva de tu cuerpo que est\u00e1 todav\u00eda conectado con la escena\u201d, sostiene Fern\u00e1ndez y finaliza: \u201cCreo que es un aporte muy importante en ese sentido\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
