La acad\u00e9mica de la carrera de Traducci\u00f3n e Interpretariado Biling\u00fce, Patricia Quezada, fue parte del Congreso Hispanoamericano de Traducci\u00f3n Audiovisual, el que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Buenos Aires, Argentina, entre el 30 de septiembre y el 1 de octubre reci\u00e9n pasado. En la oportunidad, la profesora dio la ponencia titulada \u201cSubtitulaci\u00f3n del contenido audiovisual real con estudiantes de traducci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

El Congreso, conocido como HispaTAV, debe su importancia a que la traducci\u00f3n audiovisual representa, en la actualidad, una de las \u00e1reas de especializaci\u00f3n de mayor inter\u00e9s para los estudiantes de traducci\u00f3n y traductores profesionales del mundo. La enorme expansi\u00f3n de servicios de streaming como Disney+, Apple+, Netflix, HBO Max o Amazon Prime, y la enorme cantidad de otros servicios que aparecen a diario en el mundo, hacen de esta especializaci\u00f3n la de mayor crecimiento en el mundo de la traducci\u00f3n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

La presentaci\u00f3n de la profesora Patricia Quezada se basa en el trabajo de que realiza en el curso de subtitulaci\u00f3n, en donde los alumnos traducen y subtitulan pel\u00edculas. \u201cLa diferencia es el trabajo con contenido real que hacen y la posibilidad de tener contacto con los directores y productores de Estados Unidos. Esto es lo m\u00e1s parecido a un trabajo profesional real que hacen durante la carrera\u201d, dice.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan cuenta, la respuesta de la audiencia y de otros acad\u00e9micos en el Congreso fue muy buena, ya que a muchos estudiantes argentinos les sorprendi\u00f3 la metodolog\u00eda descrita, mientras que algunos profesores sugirieron la posibilidad de realizar trabajos en conjunto a futuro.<\/p>\n

Sobre la importancia de participar en instancias como congresos internacionales, Patricia se\u00f1ala que \u201ces s\u00faper importante, porque es visualizar a la Escuela y a la Universidad y darle una vitrina internacional que hasta ahora no hab\u00edamos tenido\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
